Community Guidelines

I Need Prayer exists to help people connect through prayer, encouragement, supportive conversation, and community. We want the platform to feel welcoming, uplifting, and safe for individuals, families, churches, groups, and communities.

• Be kind, patient, considerate, and respectful in your words and actions.
• Assume good intent where possible and engage with others peacefully.
• Respect personal boundaries, privacy, beliefs, and differences.
• Encourage others without shaming, mocking, humiliating, or attacking them.

• Bullying, harassment, threats, intimidation, or abusive behavior are not permitted.
• Hateful, discriminatory, degrading, or dehumanizing language is not permitted.
• Do not target people based on identity, beliefs, background, circumstances, or vulnerability.
• Do not post violent, sexually explicit, exploitative, or intentionally shocking content.

• Do not impersonate another person, church, group, ministry, business, or organization.
• Do not intentionally spread false, deceptive, manipulated, or misleading information.
• Do not use the platform for scams, fraud, phishing, or other deceptive activity.
• Do not spam users with repetitive posts, promotions, unwanted messages, or misleading links.

People may use I Need Prayer during difficult or vulnerable moments. Be especially thoughtful when discussing grief, illness, trauma, relationships, financial hardship, emotional struggles, or other deeply personal situations. Offer care, support, and encouragement rather than judgment.

I Need Prayer is not an emergency response, crisis response, medical, mental health, or professional care service. The platform should not be relied upon for urgent protection or emergency intervention. If someone is in immediate danger, contact appropriate local emergency or crisis services.

• Do not share another person's private information without permission.
• Do not publicly share private addresses, phone numbers, passwords, banking information, financial details, or other sensitive information.
• Respect confidentiality in private messages, prayer requests, group conversations, and community discussions.

We may remove, restrict, or reduce the visibility of content that includes:

• Harassment, hate, abuse, intimidation, or threats
• Graphic violence, sexually explicit material, or exploitative content
• Scams, impersonation, fraud, or deceptive behavior
• Spam, repetitive promotion, manipulation, or disruptive activity
• Private or confidential information shared without proper permission
• Content or behavior that creates meaningful safety risks or undermines community trust

To help protect users and maintain a healthy community, we may review reports, moderate content, reduce visibility, remove posts, limit features, suspend accounts, or terminate access when these Guidelines or other platform policies are violated.

If you see harmful behavior, suspicious activity, abuse, or content that may violate these Guidelines, please use the available reporting tools or contact our support team. Reports help us identify concerns and improve safety across the community.

We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes to the platform, safety practices, legal requirements, or community needs. The latest version will be published on this page together with the updated revision date.
